美国Verizon静态家宽

今天复测AaITR的Verizon静态家宽,定位是纯落地家宽机器,之前是Frontier产品,近期上游属性有变更,所以复测一下看看。

Verizon是美国大型综合电信公司,既做手机运营商,也做家庭宽带、企业网络,Frontier主要做家庭/企业固定宽带的区域运营商,这俩都是有家宽业务的。Verizon把一批家宽线路卖给Frontier,Frontier运营和扩建多年,最后Verizon又把Frontier整家公司买了。现在Frontier已经是 Verizon 旗下公司。聊这个的主要原因就是因为这个机器IP原本直属Frontier,不过Frontier被Verizon收购了,所以现在大部分IP库查询都显示 Verizon 而不是 Frontier,但还没全部变成Verizon,部分数据库仍然是Frontier,其实没什么所谓,本来就是业务很接近的家宽运营商,不用做什么区分。除了细分下Verizon和Frontier的关系,还要再探讨一下这个产品的家宽属性,感觉这个产品更像是带静态公网IP的商宽或家庭办公线路,不是狭义中的家里云家宽产品,其实商宽/家宽也不用太区分,质量OK就行

网络质量

三网丢包严重,勉强可以直连,机器本身是家宽机器,肯定是没有优化的,建议中转使用,直连仅限于SSH(也比较迟缓),纯粹的落地机器。LAX中转延时大概在3-4ms左右,基本可以跑满100Mbps的带宽,冗余度不错,不过不建议跑满100Mbps,接近带宽极限会引起大量重传,建议最高保持90Mbps使用

IP质量

IP质量优秀,原生IP+常规流媒体基本解锁+滥用标记极少,相当漂亮的家宽IP,崭新出厂

机器性能

机器性能很差,E5-2676 的陈旧CPU还有严重的IO速度限制,有点过于traditional了(预定电子垃圾),跑测试脚本都很慢,只适合作为纯粹的组网机器或者API反代,不要尝试运行中重性能应用,容易卡死

机器定位很明确,就是纯粹的落地机器,主打就是IP质量,不要寄希望于它的网络质量和硬件性能,推荐仅作出口使用。价格的话其实就是标准的中档产品,不算太贵,也不算太便宜,体验和价格取得一个比较合适的平衡,有美国家宽需要的小伙伴可以考虑一下此产品,这个是比较热门的产品了。最后提醒一下,有小伙伴反馈说部分IP有轻微断流现象,建议大家先月付上车,确认没问题再考虑长期续费
